Join us on our Fort Lytton "History Alive" Cruise and avoid the parking chaos at Fort Lytton. Enjoy a BBQ lunch on board, then immerse yourself in the sights & sounds of times gone past viewing displays, historical re-enactments and live jousting demonstrations.

History Alive aims to bring Fort Lytton National Park to life, by inviting re-enactment and community history groups from all over Queensland to share their passion for history through entertaining and informative representations and displays. 

Fort Lytton coastal fortress was the focus of Queensland's defense activity.  It's one of several built around Australia's coast in the nineteenth century for protection from invasion. We plan to sail past the cannons, when they fire.
